Physiotherapy clinic

What is physiotherapy?

In their work, physiotherapists make use of the possibilities offered by the body's reactivity to external stimuli. Thanks to this phenomenon, it is possible to combat various ailments and disease progression. This is a long-term process, which also includes the prevention of relapses and the restoration of adequate fitness lost due to, for example, accidents and illnesses. In order for physiotherapy to be effective, it is necessary to take an individual approach to each case and select optimal methods, which is made possible, among other things, by a carefully conducted examination and medical history.

Types of physiotherapy

Kinesitherapy, which is the management of pain and the reduction of physical limitations through movement and manual therapy.

Physical therapy, i.e. therapy during which physical agents are used, e.g. electrotherapy, ultrasound, etc. Usually used to increase the effectiveness of manual therapy.
