Bone fusion disorders

We perform operations to repair bone fusion disorders, which involve refreshing the ends of bone fragments, resecting fibrous tissues that prevent bone fusion, restoring the anatomical relationships of the operated limb, and stimulating fusion with autogenous spongy bone grafts, usually taken from the hip plate, and stable anastomosis of bone fragments. Operative treatment includes:

  • Bone fusion disorders such as:
    • Delayed adhesion
    • Lack of adhesion
    • Pseudo pond
  • Post-traumatic deformities
  • Pathological adhesions
  • Joint contractures

Patients are individually qualified for the procedure, following a specialist orthopaedic consultation.
